Oy. As my mother would say.

Ok. I'm not usually a negative Nancy - especially not today - because it is GLORIOUS out there!

But (the big but that discredits everything someone has said once they say 'but'. Yeah that one) I'm irritated. Fed up I suppose. Not with anyone in particular, it was a mass effort from all things Social Media to piss me off. Seeing others behavior via the Internet really reveals some stupid people.

I really (TRULY!) value my close friends and I am so thankful for them. They may be few in numbers, and one of them may be my cat, but seriously they make my life so enjoyable. My friends are real people and make my world rewarding; for that I am thankful.

I find myself shocked at some of the people I run across though. They are mostly from my online experiences but holy CRAP do they really rub me the wrong way. Sometimes I wonder if these people have a true grip on life. Seriously, do you watch the news? Do you read anything besides Twilight or Harry Potter? (Totally not tryna hate on the HP). I like shopping, whatever.
But there is so much more to life than shoes!!!! I am so focused on filling my brain with knowledge lately. I love school and I love learning. I don't necessarily think it's even that important to have a college degree, it seems to be fairly useless these days anyway but the experience is really working for me right now. It is important, however, to have knowledge about our surroundings. We have impacts on the world around us and we need to be aware of that. I struggle to understand or empathize for people who care about nothing. It's really hard for me to like superficial people. Call me a bitch, fine. But fucking care about something real and of value.

I feel better. All done for a long time.
